This is a textured model of Darth Vader's lightsaber, conceptualized in paintings done by Ralph McQuarrie. This lightsaber was created for "The Star Wars: Concept Trailer", inspired by early concept paintings made before the finished film, "Star Wars".

Featured here is a Marmoset Viewer of the asset, high resolution rendered stills, a rendered turnaround which showcases the various texture maps, and the original painting used for reference. The renders were done in Maya with V-Ray. I only worked on the textures featured on this asset. The model was done by Douglas Erickson & Zach Meyer.

This is NOT the textured asset featured in the actual trailer. This is just a personal practice I wanted to try out.
